Häregluegt
Häregluegt is an Instagram video format produced for the online magazine "Hauptstadt." The series deals with the topic of "poverty in Switzerland."
Being poor in wealthy Switzerland? It seems impossible, but 8.5% of people in Switzerland live on less than the subsistence level of 2,279 francs per month. Häregluegt profiles three people affected by poverty, giving them the opportunity to share their experiences. The project also follows a community journalism approach, aiming to provide a platform for exchanging experiences through active interaction with the audience.
All videos were published on the "Hauptstadt" Instagram channel and can be viewed there.
Häregluegt was created in collaboration with Tamara Reichle as part of our bachelor’s thesis in the Multimedia Production program at the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden and was awarded the Bern Media Prize for Digital Formats in 2023.
